Cladding Work – SFS, Sheathing & Fire-Rated External Cladding Installation

Our Cladding Work package covers the complete envelope system for external walls — from the structural steel framing (SFS) to the final cladding finish, including fire barriers and fire-stopping protection for full compliance with UK fire safety regulations.

We work with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver safe, durable, and fully compliant cladding systems on residential and commercial buildings.

🏗️ 1. SFS Framing (Structural Steel Framing System)
Lightweight steel framing system designed to support cladding and insulation
Installed floor-by-floor and fixed to the primary concrete or steel structure
SFS infill walls engineered to meet structural load, thermal, and wind pressure requirements

🌧️ 2. Sheathing Boards, External Insulation & Weather Protection Layer
Fixing of cement-based or fire-rated sheathing boards (e.g. Glasroc, RCM, Siniat) onto SFS or block backing walls
Provides critical weather protection, wind resistance, and airtightness for the building envelope
Installed with a breathable membrane or breather layer to ensure correct vapour control
Option to install External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems, including EPS, mineral wool, or PIR boards to improve thermal performance
Finish-ready for A1/A2 fire-rated render systems over insulation (e.g. K-Rend, Weber, STO)

🎨 3. Cladding Finishes (Render or Fire-Rated Panels)
Application of final external cladding material based on project spec:
– A1/A2 fire-rated render systems
– Fibre cement panels (e.g. Equitone, Rockpanel)
– High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) (when compliant)
Installed on supporting rails or carrier boards with thermal insulation (optional)

🔥 4. Fire Barriers & Fire-Stopping Installation
Installation of fire cavity barriers (horizontal and vertical) between floors and openings
Application of fire collars, intumescent seals, and openings protection at windows, doors, and service penetrations
Fire-stopping solutions tested to BS 476-20 / EN 1366 and specified in accordance with building regulations and NHBC standards

Supply and fit or labour-only options

Fully supervised works with CDM 2015 RAMS, installation sign-offs, and coordination with façade engineers
This package is ideal for projects requiring full external wall construction, fire-rated cladding upgrades, or EWS1 compliance, and is delivered by a qualified team with experience in both new builds and remedial recladding projects.
